# How to import JSON file in DB using studio?

Hi Team,

How can I import JSON files to DB from the studio?

Steps I followed-

1. Firstly I have created the DB
2. Selected the Load Data option and choose the JSON file.
3.

I am unable to see JSON file format in the dropdown and it is showing errors with other file types please refer to the screenshot below.

You probably want to refer to [Importing JSON and CSV Files | Stardog Documentation Latest](https://docs.stardog.com/virtual-graphs/importing-json-csv-files)  
json seems to be only imported via the CLI as far as I know ...

Just leave the File Format field blank. I find when I do this it loads the JSON file.
