Thanks @evren. I more or less assumed that the memory-tweaking arguments and property would have the same effect (I was pointed to your [gist](https://gist.github.com/evren/7601614#file-createdbwithnamedgraphs-java) already in [this](https://community.stardog.com/t/bulk-loading-named-graphs/806) post). I will try out your suggestion!
