# Stardog encryption at rest

Hi,

Does Stardog natively support encryption at rest? If not, when installed in AWS can the EBS volumes used by the Stardog node be configured for encryption at rest? Do you have any documentation describing this?

Hi,

We are actively working on native encryption at-rest and we plan to release it in the following months.

Until then, you should be able to use encrypted EBS volumes without issue.
