# User specified Lucene Analyzers

Is it still only possible to specify a single lucene analyzer as a replacement for the default? Are there plans to be able to specify multiple analyzer choices?

Hi Tracy,

Yes, it’s still only possible to use a single, global, lucene analyzer. It’s on our todo list to make it a database configuration, but at this point we don’t have a specific timeframe in mind.  
We’ll update this thread in case this situation changes.
