Limit search index by rdfs:label and exclude rdfs:comment

Search in Explorer is nice and relatively fast for small and medium amount of data. However when concepts have large amount of free text in rdfs:comment - it takes more than 20 seconds to see the result.

  • Is that possible via configuration? Ideally inside Explorer ...

Also it would be nice Explorer to provide search as you type experience.

Hi Radu,

If you are using Full Text Search, you can choose to exclude certain properties from the index. This will decrease the full index size and lead to faster text based results, documentation link. For instance, if text searches across rdfs:comment are not typically useful for your use case this might be an option for improved performance. Understood you might want comments included in the index.

I have shared the feature request to be able to customize properties Explorer searches against internally.
