JS runtime error: cannot read property "classTree"

Stardog 5.0, both beta and RC1 has this problem

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'classTree' of null

Happened after I’ve imported small ontology and tried to browse classes. I’ll be happy to provide the ontology file.

Hi Petr,

We have seen this before, but never consistently. If you could provide the ontology file, that would very much help us figure out what’s going wrong. Thanks!

Hi Petr,

It appears that the problem here is the UTF-8 characters in some of your class URIs (e.g., the Japanese characters in http://www.semanticweb.org/dluhosova/ontologies/2017/5/TBDB-test#逮捕). I will log this as a bug, though the web console is getting a massive overhaul so I would have no way of estimating a timeframe for a fix.

In the meantime you can use the “Class Hierarchy” query on the Query page for a rough approximation.

That’s fine, I will be using Stardog via API most of the time anyway. Many thanks!
