My Stardog Account

I had a free cloud account with my main email: mdebellissf@gmail.com At least I'm pretty sure it was under that account. But I didn't use it for a certain number of days and it timed out. When I tried to renew it said I had to use a business email so I used md@michaeldebellis.com. That is an email I use for the situations where you can't download a paper or test version without a business email. I don't really like using it because I don't check that email nearly as much as I do the other one. When I created an account under that email it said an account already exists and would I like to merge them (which was recommended) but when I went to merge it asked for my email and password again but I wasn't sure did it want my md@michaeldebellis.com or mdebellissf@gmail.com I'm using Stardog do develop a prototype that I'm gong to submit to a funding agency and if I get the funding will get a real account but for now can just afford the free one. Can anyone give me guidance on how specifically to merge the two accounts? Also, is it better to download the free version so I don't have to worry about time outs? Thanks.

Hi Michael,

Stardog Cloud will be the best option, as no free downloadable option exists. We do offer a low-cost environment, Essentials, which can be purchased from any email address and will not be reclaimed.

Stardog Free now requires a business email address, as you have noted. The flow can be a little confusing when trying to authenticate using both Google and a username/password for the same email address.

Can you try going to https://cloud.stardog.com, logout if you still have an active session, select Continue with Google, and choose your md@michaeldebellis.com email address.

Thanks,
Laura

Got it. I'll try that but there wasn't much in the old account that I needed anyway. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something but your message confirmed what I thought. Thanks for clarifying things.
