I’m very happy with the Stardog named graph security. Just wanted you guys to know.
For my project with DIFI, a Norwegian government organisation, I needed to be able to hide a subset of our data if something sensitive leaked through from one of our data sources.
So I’ve set up Stardog with a named graph per data source, and added all those graphs as readable to a readAll role.
If sensitive information gets leaked from one of our data sources, then they can log in and remove their named graph from the readAll role, thus hiding it from our end users.
It’s great that this feature has worked, and scaled well. And it’s so much easier than trying to rewrite all my queries to check if a data source should be hidden.
