Lexical Error in Designer?

Hi everone!

I am getting a Failed to import D_CATS: 000012: Lexical error at line 23, column 19. Encountered: "|u00b3" (179), after : "" when uploading a CSV file in Designer.

This issue arises in a DatatypeProperty (attribute) where the column has values of 0 or 1. I tried string, integer and boolean as the range for this attribute, but none worked.

I've triple checked. My file does not contain that character. Still, I tried to find/replace and it didn't work.

Yesterday it was working fine. Today it's throwing this error.

What is this issue related to?

Thanks!

Hi Daniel, Are you able to share the file in question? The error noted would not rely on the Designer datatype property being mapped to but would be tied to a parsing issue of the file itself.

Hi @Laura_Firey!

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I cannot post it here, but, do you have an email I could sent it to?

Thank you!

Followed up. Thanks Daniel

Noting the identified behavior:
We do not support column header mappings with diacritics.

Designer supports CSV replacements so that you can keep your mappings and replace a file. To replace a file, click the project resource's 3-dot menu, click View Preview, and then click Replace to upload an updated file and keep your existing mappings.

Hi @Laura_Firey!

Thank you for your response.

I sent another email given the error is still present after renaming the columns.

Thank you!
