How to connect on Windows 10

Downloaded and installed Stardog Studio. Introduction says to connect to Stardog.
Connection is refused, so the tool can't be used for anything.

Is there anything else that needs to be done to get it working ?

Tested the instructions for Windows Beta on Home | Stardog Documentation Latest
.\install-service.bat fails with stderr.log
Access is denied.
Failed to install service

Stardog Studio looks like a promising UI.
However, as it's a sandbox, can't do anything useful there.

So the problem sounds like you were unsuccessful in installing Stardog so it’s probably not running which is why Studio can’t connect. You need to run the install script with admin permissions. I’m not a windows person and trying to do stuff like this reminds me why I’m not a Windows person but I believe it can be done by either the “run as” command or creating a shortcut and giving that permissions.

Can you send any relevant events in the System Event Log?

Clue me in to where the Stardog Server events might be found ?
(given that windows couldn't start the service).
So far I've only found Stardog Studio.exe crashes in
Event Viewer \ Windows Logs \ Application.
